her heart burned with a fiery rage that swirled chaotically inside of her like a whirlpool that threatens to engulf her grip on reality. she stared out-of-focus past his strong intimidating shoulders; willing her tears to stop coming- but just like how many things turned out to be a complete failure in her life, this was no different. angry tears swelled up and they brimmed over; gushing down like the rapid currents of a seemingly calm stream. he was hurling words at her- he was yelling them at the top of his lungs she thought her eardrums could possibly explode from all that screaming.
but it wasn't his yelling that was driving her over the edge. it was her own pitiful cries that rang loud, urging herself to take a stand- but she wouldn't.
she wanted so badly to hang him from the ceiling till his neck bruised blue black that her hands were quivering with temptation. she clenched her fists so hard that her knuckles turned white; till no blood flowed through them. she had to refrain from acting on actions that would bring her regret later on. she bit hard on her bottom lip to stop her scream of agony from escaping; bit on them so hard that she tasted iron from the blood that was flowing dark red.
she forced her eyes shut- let the emotions seep into her skin and down the drain.
and then she sank into the deepest darkest abyss just like a brick falling in to the depths of the vast ocean.

cause she almost stopped breathing.
